Hispanic Pastor Noel Alarcon
Rev Noel L. Alarcon was born March 4th 1944 in Osorno Chile. In 1967, after graduating from a school
for Army Officers, he went to Lima Peru, Guayaquil, Quito Ecuador and Panama, where he decided to
stay.
On September 18th 1969, he married Francia Dominici. He has 3 children: Francia Lorena (42), Noel Raul
(41) and Nathalie Jireh (25). Today we have 4 grandchildren: Elizabeth S, Isabella V., Ariana Alarcon and
Caden Rowe Alarcon
He was born again by the Holy Spirit from catholicism on April 14, 1977 at the Canal Zone Servicemen
Center (Church of God, USA) in Panana Republic of Panama. In March of 1978 he started attending the
Biblical Theological College of the Assemblies of God. He graduated in May of 1981. In March of 1981 he
started his first pastoral work with US soldiers and their families at the US Army Base of Fort Clayton.
This became the first Pentecostal Christian Church accepted for the American Army Chaplaincy, with the
permission to enter and use all the facilities in the base like Chapels and buses to go to different places
in Panama. In December 1985 he came to the United States.
During 1984 and 1985 he was a teacher at an Assembly of God Biblical Institute. Afterwards, he was
Ordained by the General Council of the Assemblies of God of Panama. In 1986 he was ordained again by
the District Council of Mississippi. In February of 1986 he started his first Church in the USA called
"Latin-Christian Mission A/G". He left Mississippi obeying God coming to Alabama. In May of 1987 he
came to Enterprise where he started working with the military personnel of the army aviation base, Fort
Rucker. Here we established the "House of Prayer Hosanna A/G". Today it has over 200 members.
In 1995, the Lord started calling us to come to the area of Birmingham. In August, he came to Alabaster,
where he started "Revival Ministry of A/G", located off exit 100 in McCalla. It grew to 340 members in
2000. In November 2011, the building was destroyed by arson.
He began working with Pastor Ron Cox at Kingwood Church in Alabaster, Pastor Raymond Culpepper at
Metropolitan Church of God in Hoover, Life Church A/G in Woodstock, Pleasant Grove Methodist Church
in Bessemer, Cornerstone Church, New Vision Christian Church in Helena, and now Alabaster Church of
God.
He has worked for eleven years with the leadership team of Mission Birmingham, a
multidenominational organization with the Birmingham Church.
